Job Opportunity: Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Job Details:
Location: Garden Grove, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday (12:00 PM to 8:00 PM)
Pay: $21.50 - $24.50 per hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Requirements:
Experience with data entry into an MRP system.
Familiarity with using micrometers and calipers.
Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions and decimals.
Must be Forklift Certified (or have certification within the last two years).
Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, division) and have readable penmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
Receiving Material: Accurately record all receiving processes in the ERP system (Stratix) and ensure all receiving documents are completed properly.
In-process Inspections: Participate in AQL or 100% inspections as required and maintain inventory accuracy.
Forklift Maintenance: Perform daily checklists and maintenance programs on forklifts.
Equipment Operation: Understand machine capacities and maintain operational efficiencies.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate storage, tracking, and traceability of materials. Follow best practices according to company policies.

Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Proficiency with operational equipment and ERP systems (Stratix).
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Analytical Skills: Assist in reducing rejection rates and collaborate with team members for root cause analysis of any issues.
