Warehouse Sanitation Worker
Job Title: Warehouse Sanitation Worker
Department: Operations
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Summary
The Warehouse Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. This role ensures compliance with company standards and safety regulations by performing routine cleaning, waste management, and sanitation duties throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
Sweep, mop, and scrub warehouse floors
Remove debris from aisles, staging areas, and loading docks
Empty trash bins and operate trash compactors or balers
Clean and sanitize workstations, packing tables, and equipment
Clean spills promptly and safely
Maintain cleanliness of storage racks and shelving
Dispose of cardboard, shrink wrap, pallets, and other materials properly
Follow proper hazardous waste handling procedures (if applicable)
Clean and restock restrooms and break areas (if assigned)
Maintain sanitation logs and inspection records
Report safety hazards, pest activity, or maintenance issues
Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines
Use proper PPE at all times

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous warehouse or janitorial experience preferred
Ability to operate cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, compactors, etc.)
Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods

Work Environment
Fast-paced warehouse setting
Exposure to varying temperatures depending on facility
May involve working around machinery and heavy equipment
