Summary Serves as an integral part in achieving Alumni Relations and Development's strategic goal of significantly increasing support through planned gift commitments from alumni, friends and parents of the University. Works in coordination with Planned Giving staff to manage the administration of all active estates and other testamentary gifts, including communications with attorneys, fiduciaries and other advisers. Schedule Maintaining and satisfying minimum attendance requirements are an essential requirement of this position, including working all full-time regular hours as established by the supervisor in addition to any scheduled or emergency overtime. Duties and Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Manages a portfolio of up to 120 planned gift prospective donors by conducting timely moves management on all prospects in portfolio to maximize fundraising potential for the University. This work includes developing cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies for each prospect in order to secure new planned giving commitments and new Heritage Society members (Trinity's planned giving society). Travels locally and domestically to conduct visits with planned giving donors and prospects to advance TU's relationships. Develops and implements a plan to educate constituents about the benefits or planned giving through presentations, seminars and events on estate and retirement planning. Assists in planning the annual Heritage Society luncheon, Trinity on Tour program, 51+ Reunions and other events. Partners with other university offices and Alumni Relations and Development colleagues to advance TUs relationship with prospective and current planned giving donors. Tracks interactions with planned giving donors and prospects, including prospect qualification, proposal strategies and project monitoring in the TU database and following all established protocols and maintaining the integrity of those records, including key documents and reporting deadlines.
