Olympia, Washington Assistant Director, Native Pathways Program Position Purpose This position is responsible for student outreach, advising, and retention; collecting and reporting monthly, quarterly, and annual Native Pathways Program (NPP) data (student surveys, community surveys, outreach/recruitment report outs, budget reports, etc.); maintaining potential student database; organizing events for outreach, recruitment, and retention for NPP; providing students with academic planning and resources; building and maintaining relationships with college offices across campus (Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, Marketing, Library Services, Residential and Dining Services, Academic and Career Advising, Student Activities, etc.); work with NPP Student Governance on initiatives, events, fundraising, and the annual Graduation Ceremony; building and maintaining tribal and community relationships; scheduling space and media services; scheduling appointments and maintaining the office calendar; attending college meetings as requested on behalf of NPP; promoting Native Pathways Program (NPP) mission and developing curriculum; and community outreach for the purpose of expanding NPP community, tribal, and student relations. The position assists the Director in developing innovative strategies to continue the growth, well-being, and integrity of the program. This is a full-time, overtime eligible position on the Olympia Campus of The Evergreen State College. This position is an "at-will" appointment, exempt from Washington State Civil Service rules. Salary and Benefits: $4,696 – $5,401 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
