POSITION OVERVIEW: The Seattle Art Museums seeks an innovative and inclusive leader to develop a new vision for the museum's social impact, education, public engagement and community partnership programs. Building on SAM's longstanding dedication to equity and responding to the challenges and opportunities of this current moment, this position will lead dynamic programming at all three museum sites: the Seattle Art Museum, the Olympic Sculpture Park & the Asian Art Museum. This position invites you to serve as a key thought leader for the largest visual arts organization in the Pacific Northwest, setting best practices for the museum field and advancing programs that connect art to life. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefit package including competitive health insurance, generous time off programs, and 403b retirement plan.
