Our well established and growing eye clinic is looking for an eager and motivated Medical Assistant/Ophthalmic Technician with a minimum of 2 years experience. Our clinic is fast paced and upbeat and we are looking for team members that strive for excellence in patient care, work ethic, and team building. Job Description and Duties: Efficiently and accurately interview patients; obtaining medical histories and documenting in patient electronic records Maintaining, cleaning, and sterilizing instruments and equipment Performing and recording patient procedures and tests such as, visual acuities, autorefractive readings, lensometry, Fundus Photography, Optical Coherence Tomography, etc. Maintaining cleaned and well stocked exam rooms and work stations Handling patient questions during visits, via phone and messaging system Assisting providers with in-office procedures Qualifications: Strong Computer skills with proficiency in internet usage and electronic health records Strong patient care practices Efficiently and effectively multitask in a fast-paced setting Strong communication and team interaction Optometry or Ophthalmology experience a plus Medical Assistant state certification a plus Bilingual in Spanish a plus We offer an excellent benefit package including health care, 401K and Profit-Sharing plans.
