Barista

As a Barista and Cashier, you’ll create a welcoming café experience by preparing drinks and food, serving customers, and keeping transactions accurate. You’ll move between the counter and beverage station, balancing friendly service with clean, safe work practices.

Duties
* Greet customers, answer menu questions, take orders, and provide attentive customer service.
* Prepare coffee, smoothies, and food according to recipes and food safety practices.
* Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process cash and other transactions, and complete retail sales accurately.
* Serve orders promptly while coordinating drink service and food preparation.
* Clean and organize counters, equipment, and service areas; follow food handling and sanitation procedures.
Skills
* Required: Customer service, cashiering, cash handling, basic math, time management, and clear communication.
* Preferred: Barista, coffee, food service, serving, or beverage service experience. 2 years of experience is a must.
* Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or other POS systems is helpful.
* Ability to prepare beverages and food, handle food safely, and maintain a clean work area.
* Comfortable processing cash transactions and supporting sales in a fast-paced café.
