Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in the logistics and transportation management sector. You will utilize various transportation management systems, including Oracle Transportation Management, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. Duties MONDAY-FRIDAY START TIME 07:00 am, SOME WEEKENDS. Manage incoming customer inquiries via phone systems and email, providing timely and accurate responses. Utilize GPS technology and transportation management systems to track shipments and resolve issues. Communicate effectively with customers regarding their orders, delivery schedules, and any potential delays. Analyze customer needs and provide solutions that enhance their experience with our services. Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination of transportation operations. Maintain accurate records in AS400 and other relevant databases to track customer interactions and service requests. Assist in the development of customer service policies and procedures to improve overall efficiency. Experience Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within logistics or transportation management. Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management or similar transportation management systems is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Proficient in using phone systems and other communication tools to manage customer interactions. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on customer needs and operational requirements. Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
