Housekeeping

The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and assigned hotel areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. Responsibilities include: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned common areas. Make beds and replace linens, towels, and guest amenities. Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors. Remove trash and properly dispose of waste. Restock toiletries, coffee supplies, and other room items. Inspect rooms and report damages, maintenance problems, or missing items immediately. Report lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures. Maintain housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies in an organized manner. Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures. Complete assigned rooms within the required timeframe. Respect guest privacy and provide courteous service. Assist with laundry or other housekeeping duties when needed. Notify the supervisor when rooms are cleaned and ready for inspection. Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, lifting, and pushing housekeeping carts. Ability to lift approximately 25–40 pounds. Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
