Industrial Housekeeper / Sanitation Worker

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM Shift: 1st Shift Start Date: Tomorrow Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Industrial Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment within a food manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for cleaning production areas, floors, equipment, common areas, and other designated areas while following all safety, sanitation, and food-safety procedures. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clean and maintain production and warehouse areas. Sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize floors and work areas. Remove trash, debris, and waste from designated areas. Clean walls, doors, drains, equipment surfaces, and other assigned areas. Assist with cleaning around production equipment while following safety procedures. Follow established cleaning and sanitation schedules. Properly use cleaning tools, equipment, and approved cleaning products. Maintain cleanliness of break rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Follow GMP, food-safety, sanitation, and PPE requirements. Report spills, unsafe conditions, or hazards to a supervisor immediately. Maintain a clean and organized supply area. Perform other housekeeping and sanitation duties as assigned. Requirements Previous industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical duties throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies and materials. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. Must be comfortable working around cleaning products and production equipment. Important Facility Requirements Steel-toe boots are REQUIRED. NO JEWELRY is permitted — including rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, earrings, or facial piercings. Appropriate work clothing is required. PPE must be worn as required. Must follow all GMP and food-safety requirements. Proper personal hygiene and cleanliness must be maintained. No loose personal items that could create a safety or contamination concern.
