LOGISTICS COORDINATOR NEEDED IN CARSON, CA

The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Operations Director and supports domestic transportation, outbound distribution, and inbound shipments. This individual contributor role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently, and no travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic shipments and outbound distribution activities.

• Schedule carriers and support inbound shipment planning.

• Plan efficient transportation routes.

• Process orders and monitor deliveries through completion.

• Track inventory and maintain accurate shipment records.

• Communicate with vendors regarding transportation and delivery requirements.

• Manage logistics documentation and conduct freight audits.

• Resolve shipment, delivery, and coordination issues independently.
  
  
  Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination.

• High School Diploma.

• Experience with Transportation Management Systems and Warehouse Management Systems.

• Knowledge of inventory management, shipment tracking, and route planning.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

• Vendor coordination experience.

• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently.
