Lube & Maintenance Technician

Location: Anaheim, CA Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Position Summary Brian’s Auto Service is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Lube Technician to handle fast-paced routine vehicle maintenance, fluid services, and basic component replacements. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on shop experience, sharpen your automotive skills, and work alongside experienced technicians. Key Responsibilities Fluid Services & Routine Maintenance Perform quick and precise engine oil and filter changes on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models. Drain, flush, and refill fluids, including transmission, coolant, brake, differential, and power steering fluids. Inspection & Basic Component Service Perform multi-point vehicle safety inspections (checking fluid levels, tire pressure, belts, hoses, wipers, and lights). Check, clean, test, and replace air filters, cabin filters, batteries, and wipers. Execute tire rotations, wheel balancing, and tire pressure checks. Shop Safety & Support Keep bay areas, work stalls, and shop tools clean, safe, and organized. Assist lead technicians with basic parts removal and tool preparation when needed. Handle safe fluid collection and proper environmental disposal of hazardous materials. Qualifications & Skills  Category Requirements Experience 6+ months of automotive lube tech experience or completed vocational auto training preferred. Basic Skills Familiarity with basic shop hand tools, fluid equipment, tire changers, and battery testers. Work Ethic Strong attention to detail, efficiency under time constraints, and a safety-first mindset. Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work under vehicles, and stand for long periods. Licensing Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (to move vehicles in/out of bays).
