LUMBER SAWYER / ASERRADOR DE MADERA

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsabilidades

• Operate a cut-off saw, jump saws, and other equipment to cut and shape lumber accurately

• Use hand and power tools (saws, drills, calipers, forklifts) safely

• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals

• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

• Select proper wood types, sizes, and grades

• Work with team members to meet production deadlines

• Follow all safety procedures

• Operar sierra inglete, sierra de corte transversal y otros equipos para cortar y dar forma a la madera

• Usar herramientas manuales y eléctricas (sierras, taladros, calibradores, montacargas)

• Leer e interpretar planos técnicos y manuales

• Inspeccionar productos terminados para control de calidad

• Seleccionar tipos, tamaños y grados de madera adecuados

• Colaborar con el equipo para cumplir metas de producción

• Cumplir estrictamente con las normas de seguridad

REQUIREMENTS

Requisitos

• Experience in woodworking, machining, or manufacturing

• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings

• Warehouse or forklift experience a plus (certification preferred)

• Knowledge of construction or carpentry principles

• Experience using calipers and measuring tools

• Ability to stand, lift, and work physically throughout the shift

• Experiencia en carpintería, mecanizado o manufactura

• Capacidad para leer planos técnicos

• Experiencia en almacén o manejo de montacargas (certificación preferida)

• Conocimiento en construcción o carpintería

• Uso de herramientas de medición como calibradores

• Capacidad física para estar de pie, levantar y operar maquinaria
