Nashville is growing at a breakneck pace, and we need an editor that can help Tennessean reporters chronicle the area's evolution. This means breaking news in an ultracompetitive media landscape, finding new ways to tell stories and guiding our journalists toward smart enterprise that retains and finds new audiences. The successful candidate will join a strong leadership team that works closely together to balance daily newsgathering and deadline responsibilities with long-term projects and ambitious audience-growth goals. The editor also will work with our Digital Optimization Team to prepare our stories for peak performance and premium display online. We are looking for a journalist with reporting experience, strong editing and writing skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
