Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a part-time testing center aide. This position proctors computerized and paper tests in person and remotely, including Accuplacer, Test of Essential Academic Skill (TEAS), Pearson Vue GED® / Comp TIA and others. Essential Duties The following list is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills or working conditions associated with this position. Checks in testing candidates, verifies identification and explains the exam process; distributes and monitors testing Administers diagnostic testing and maintains the security of testing area and materials Records and files tests received and tests taken Opens and/or closes the testing center and handles inquiries regarding scheduling information and types of tests available Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Associate degree Current or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire: Accuplacer Certificate of Test Administration ATI Testing Certificate of Test of Essential Academic Skill (TEAS) Pearson Vue Test Administrator Certification One year of relevant work experience (an additional two years of relevant work experience can be substituted for the education requirement) Computer, organizational, human relations, and written and oral communication skills The ability to work independently Supplemental Information This is a part-time temporary support staff position. Days and hours of work are variable, and include evenings and Saturdays as needed. Scheduled hours will not exceed 25 hours per week.
