SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to support an opportunity at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
POSITION OVERVIEW SECTION
The employee shall provide professional engineering research and program management support and assistance necessary to aid in the mission accomplishment of the Airman Systems Directorate, Airman Biosciences Division 711 HPW/RHBA, Airman Readiness Optimization. The research supports Air Force Medical Service research interests by creating high-performance, integrated systems for individualized, operations enhancing health readiness. The Rapid Prototyping Cell area supports Air Force Medical Service research interests by creating high-performance, integrated systems for individualized operations-enhancing health protection.
QualificationsMinimum Position Requirements
Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a technical science or engineering field.
5+ years supporting DoD acquisition programs.
2+ years managing military system development projects including design reviews and testing.
Technical & Communication SkillsSkilled in technical writing, presentation development, and delivering briefings to senior military leaders.
Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, interpret guidelines, and recommend effective solutions.
Possess a working knowledge of industry acumen to assist with compliance of policies, procedures, standards, and regulations in support of the DAF.
Administrative & Software ProficiencyStrong organizational and project management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Project).
Clearance & Legal RequirementsAbility to obtain Secret Clearance (initiation required upon award).
NDA signed and on file by performance start.
