Raw Material Handler Milford HR7-00033 Job Purpose Operates industrial lift truck to move material from staging area throughout plant as needed. Maintains the needs of incoming raw non-explosive material required for use in production. At times, related tasks are performed in support of the shape charge assembly procedures. This position requires on-site presence and regular attendance to perform the essential duties. Key Duties & Responsibilities Loads and unloads materials using forklift. Verifies conformance testing is complete for various components used in production. Verifies and releases approved material to production. Performs quarterly cycle count. Issues and records non-inventory supplies. Identifies correct part numbers pertaining to stocking or re-stocking inventory. Reads and understands the bill of material for supplies used in manufacturing shaped charges. Completes all required paperwork for inventory movement. Reports low physical inventory. Verifies traceability of inventory movements. Receives incoming explosive and non-explosive materials. Prepares packaging materials for production use. Transports materials within facility and completes applicable paperwork. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Experience Education and Training High school diploma or the equivalent is preferred. General Requirements One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training is preferred. Technical Requirements The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Able to read, understand, learn and follow written and verbal safety, quality and work instructions. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations Must meet Hunting Titan/OSHA fork truck driver license requirements. Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver license and must meet all ATF, DOT, State and other applicable regulations in reference to handling material such as receiving, storing and delivery of explosives.
