Millwork shop is looking for CNC Operator who will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts from various materials. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and attention to detail to ensure efficient production and compliance with design specifications.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines for cutting, drilling, milling, and other functions.
Read and interpret blueprints
Program CNC machines to perform required operations and adjust as necessary.
Load raw materials and parts onto the machines and perform test runs.
Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
Inspect and measure finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and ensure the functionality of machinery.
Maintain and manage cutting tool inventory.
Stay updated on industry advancements and suggest process improvements.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Operator.
Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, tooling, and precision measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM software.
Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.
Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
Basic understanding of carpentry techniques and fabrication methods.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a demanding environment.
Work Conditions:
