Job Title:
Pallet Repair Specialist (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift)
Double-Wide Forklift Operator (2nd and 3rd Shift)

Shifts:
1st shift: Monday - Friday (8hr shift) - 5:00am to 1:30pm or Monday - Thursday (10hr shift) - 5:00am to 3:30pm
2nd shift: Monday - Friday (8hr shift) - 4:00pm to 12:30am or Tuesday - Friday (10hr shift) - 4:00pm to 2:30am
3rd shift: Friday - Sunday - 5:00am - 3:30pm and Monday - 4:00pm - 2:30am

General Summary:
- The Pallet Repair Specialist is responsible for repairing CHEP pallets that are in need of repair and delivering them to and from the repair platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity while adhering to CHEP's quality criteria. The Pallet Repair person is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all pallets repaired. Perform other duties as assigned. Also, the more pallets you repair, the more money you can make in the process.

- The Double-Wide Forklift Operator is responsible for operating required lift equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operations of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties in addition to his or her own duties.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (functions considered essential as defined by ADA):
- Safely and securely repair pallets at a rate that meets company standards and in a manner that
meets company safety standards.
- Manually lift 70 lb pallets from a stack to a repair table.
- Operate a pry bar to detach damaged boards from the pallets.
- Operate a hammer, grinder and a saw to remove existing nails and finally, using a 25 lb nail gun to nail together
the components.
- Pallet must meet and pass CHEP's quality control audit.
