Landscaper Maintenance Laborer

Landscaper Maintenance Laborer $14/Hour (Houston)
Our growing company is seeking dependable Landscape Laborers. As a landscape professional, you will provide the full range of landscaping services. We will provide you with the resources and safety equipment to successfully deliver the full scope of services. You will receive guidance and direction from a Foreman. Your team will report to an Account Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABLITIES:

• Properties beautification by pulling weeds, watering, removing trash, trimming, edging, pruning, hedging, and blowing leaves and debris using different pieces of landscape equipment.
• Turf trimming.
• Keep vehicles maintenance and equipment clean.
• Wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), maintain a safe working environment.
• Interact with homeowners, property guests, clients, and the public in a professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to drive a truck and trailer
• Familiar with basic landscaping maintenance operations/practices required
• Knowledge of level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, mower)
• Must have reliable transportation to the branch location
• Legal authorization to work in the US
• Possess a valid driver license
• Clean driving record with ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)
• Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day
