Special Olympics Announces Penguin Plunge Events Happening Around the State
Including Middletown, February 25th

Special Olympics Connecticut is pleased to announce dates for its upcoming Penguin Plunge events and invites all to register for the Middletown Penguin Plunge, at www.soct.org/plunge. Participants in the Plunge will jump into the chilly waters of Crystal Lake to support the organization's year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes around the state and help create communities that accept and include people of all abilities. The Middletown Penguin Plunge is hosted by members of the Polish Falcons Club. This Plunge will be held at the Polish Falcons Nest #519, located at 144 Prout Hill Road, Middletown, on Saturday, February 25th. Check-in will begin at 10 a.m. and the Plunge will take place at noon. Participants must be at least eight years old and register for $25. We ask that you also raise an additional $75 to total $100 to plunge! Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and may be done online at www.soct.org/plunge.

Shoreline Penguin Plunge at Eastern Point Beach in Groton on Sunday, March 5th
Brookfield Penguin Plunge at Brookfield Town Park in Brookfield on Saturday, March 18th
Tolland Penguin Plunge at Crandall Park in Tolland on Saturday, March 25th
Plunge at the Park at Wolfe Park in Monroe, Saturday, April 1st
Fairfield Penguin Plunge at Jennings Beach on Saturday, April 15th
