Key Responsibilities
Select the proper materials (foam wrap, stretch film, bubble wrap, etc.) appropriate for the product’s size, shape, fragility, and shipping conditions.
Wrap foam parts, inserts or protected goods by hand or using wrapping machinery, ensuring secure and clean packaging.
Apply labels, tags, or markings (e.g. lot numbers, customer info, size) to wrapped items.
Inspect wrapped items for damage, defects, or inadequate protection, and correct or report issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area; ensure wrapping materials are stocked and accessible.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding wrapping techniques, packaging specifications, and safety protocols.
Occasionally assist with loading wrapped items onto pallets or in shipping containers; secure pallets (e.g. stretch wrap, shrink wrap).
Cooperate with other production / quality / shipping departments for inspection or additional protective packaging when needed.

Qualifications & Skills
Some experience in packaging, wrapping, or similar industrial/production roles is a plus.
Ability to carefully measure, fold, cut, wrap neatly; attention to detail.
Familiarity or ability to safely use cutting tools, wrap machines, stretch film dispensers, etc.
Physical ability to stand for long periods; lift/move moderately heavy items (often 25‑50 lbs or more) with or without assistance.
Good communication skills; ability to understand and follow instructions.
Basic record-keeping / noting batch/lot numbers / making sure labeling is accurate.
Comfortable working with foam materials, possible adhesives or protective materials.
Safety awareness; use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

2nd shift 1:30pm to 10:00pm
