Perform detailed inspections of vehicles, including engine systems, brakes, suspension, and bodywork, to identify defects or areas requiring repair. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to assess and diagnose mechanical issues during inspections. Assist in auto body repair assessments, ensuring structural integrity and cosmetic quality meet company standards. Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when inspecting or moving vehicle components or parts. Document inspection findings thoroughly and prepare detailed reports for technicians or clients. Collaborate with automotive service teams to recommend necessary repairs or restorations, including auto restoration projects. Ensure all inspection procedures adhere to industry safety protocols and environmental regulations. Support auto repair and maintenance activities as needed, applying mechanic experience to assist technicians when required.
