ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURABLES:
Responsible to pull material from inventory or from other locations as directed 5 days prior to ship date to achieve the company goal of 96% minimum OTD delivery to customers.
Perform cycle counts and physical inventory as directed.
Accurately count all material received and shipped to ensure accurate data transactions and shipping documentation.
Verify materials and supplies received against the proper purchase order to ensure correct material is received.
Must be able to perform proper packing on all product and wrap pallets to avoid any damage to product
Route parts to inspection with appropriate documentation to meet company goal of 96% minimum on-time delivery.
Prepare labels, bills of lading for shipments.
Assist internal and external customers when requested.
Follow departmental guidelines and safety guidelines at all times.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as directed by the Company.
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school graduate with (2) years experience in a shipping/receiving function.
Must be able to communicate both written and orally in English. Bi-lingual preferred.
OTHER SUBJECTIVE CRITERIA:
Must be highly motivated and willing to work in a team environment.
Must be flexible and able to work overtime, when required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift up to (50) lbs.
Requires hands and feet dexterity to utilize PC, lift and pack boxes, operate a hand lift and assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.
