The Missouri State University Department of Finance and General Business anticipates an August 2022 opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Finance. Candidates must have an earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in Finance from an AACSB International accredited institution (ABDs with anticipated completion by August 2022 may be considered), a demonstrated record of teaching excellence in finance at the university level, a demonstrated scholarly record, and a commitment to work with diverse student and community populations. Duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in finance (primarily investments, derivatives, financial management, and/or fintech) delivered via traditional classroom and/or online; pursuing finance-related research leading to publication in refereed journals and paper presentations at professional meetings; and providing service to Missouri State University, the profession, and the community.
