Labor General/Ensamble

Solvis Employment Servives is now hiring assemblers/general laborers for a company in Irvine, CA.

Foam Assembly & Production
Assemble custom foam components using adhesives, heat-bonding, laminating, or mechanical fastening techniques.
Operate cutting tools (hot wire cutters, band saws, die cutters, CNC foam cutters) as required.
Measure, trim, and shape foam parts to precise dimensions following work orders and blueprints.
Build multi-layer or composite foam assemblies for packaging, insulation, furniture, medical, or industrial applications.

Set up, calibrate, and perform basic maintenance on foam-cutting and assembly equipment.
Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience in assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, or related hands-on production environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, templates, or patterns.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.
Basic math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals, tape measure, calipers).
Comfortable operating cutting tools, adhesives, and small machinery.
Good manual dexterity and ability to lift foam materials (typically 25–50 lbs).

Work Environment
Manufacturing floor with moderate noise levels and exposure to adhesives, cutting equipment, and foam dust.
Requires standing for extended periods and handling large foam components.

Shifts: 1st 5:00am to 1:30pm/ 2nd Shift 1:30pm to 10:00pm
