ALABAMA GOODWILL INDUSTRIES JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Vice President, Marketing & Fund Development Date Reviewed /Revised: 7/21 Department: Marketing Team Leader: President & Chief Executive Officer Status: Exempt Mission Contribution: Advance Alabama Goodwill Industries (AGI) mission by securing resources to enhance mission initiatives, increasing transactions in stores, increasing donations of materials and raising community awareness while leading fund raising, marketing, public relations and community outreach/engagement activities. Function: To build the brand equity of AGI through marketing and community awareness, and raise the necessary funds on behalf of AGI to secure short and long term mission funding, operating, and capital needs support; to help create a sustainable mission integrated social enterprise. Specific Duties: Marketing Identifies significant media and public policy issues that can be leveraged to support AGI; creates and implements plans to address areas of opportunities. Develops marketing strategy and ensures all marketing/branding items are accurate, timely and consistent with brand policy. Oversees the writing, editing and management of all AGI communications, such as media contacts, releases, publications, social media (Facebook, YouTube, Linked In, Twitter, Instagram) and website. Insures error free content. Drafts organizational response to inquiries and social media comments about AGI. Works with the VP of Operations to create a structured plan for motivating donors/shoppers and enticing new donors/shoppers. Leads the branding and marketing for store and ADC interiors and exteriors. Creates opportunities for programs and other initiatives to help increase donors and transactions by utilizing marketing analytics. Community Outreach Develop and maintain a positive profile and high level of community awareness for AGI, including representing Goodwill in the communities served and maintaining positive civic and professional relationships through public education programs of AGI services and their benefits to the communit
