Position Description: The Body imaging section of Charlotte Radiology seeks candidates for a partnership track position with an emphasis on body imaging. A specific interest in abdominal imaging is desired. Clinical responsibilities include diagnostic imaging of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis. Procedural skills in targeted biopsies and drain placement are not necessary for this position, which will primarily staff non-procedural seats in the Southern-most locations in our practice. Our practice provides service for the Levine Cancer Institute, and as such candidates must be comfortable with complex oncologic imaging. Applicants must have American Board of Radiology certification (or be board eligible) with subspecialty training in body imaging or cardiothoracic imaging. Practice Highlights: Charlotte Radiology, PA is comprised of 98 Board Certified radiologists and 24 physician assistants, serving as the area's imaging experts since 1967. Over the last 50 years, we have become one of the largest and most progressive radiology groups in the nation. In addition to offering 24/7 coverage for 14 hospitals, we also own and operate 13 breast centers, 3 mobile mammography units, 2 vein centers, a cosmetic center and several interventional clinics. We also jointly own and read for 5 Carolinas Imaging Services locations. Our physician team is active in research and clinical trials and has authored many scientific papers and presentations in multiple sub-specialties of radiology.
