The School of Environmental Sustainability at Loyola University Chicago seeks qualified candidates for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in environmental policy. This position builds on the School's interdisciplinary strengths in addressing society's vexing environmental challenges through research, teaching, and service. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong record of, or potential for, scholarly research and teaching excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate level; a willingness to work collaboratively with faculty in other disciplines; and demonstrated ability to serve students from diverse backgrounds. Applicants must hold an earned doctorate in environmental policy, public policy, political science, environmental studies, public administration, environmental law, or an affiliated field at the time of appointment. We welcome applicants who possess relevant professional experience and can support students in building their professional networks within environmental policy.
