Maintenance Worker

We are currently seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Maintenance Worker with at least three years of experience in hydraulics and electrical systems to join our maintenance team at a high-volume food production facility. This role is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly and safely, with a strong emphasis on communication, technical skill, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on food production machinery, particularly hydraulic and electrical components.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues quickly and effectively.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.
Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and vendors in both English and Spanish.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
Assist in equipment installations and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with hydraulics and electrical systems in a manufacturing or food production environment.
Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
Proficient in diagnosing issues with electrical wiring, motors, PLCs, and hydraulic machinery.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
Flexibility to work various shifts and be available for occasional emergency repairs.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and work in varying temperatures and environments.
Comfortable working around food-processing equipment and noise.
