The IACS*-accredited Counseling Center of the University of Central Missouri provides initial consultation, brief services, and crisis intervention to students, as well as outreach and consultation to the campus community. We are seeking to expand the CC team in number and diversity of staff. *International Accreditation of Counseling Services Primary Responsibilities Brief clinical services to college students, including: Initial consultation Crisis intervention Individual, group, and couples counseling Outreach and psychoeducation on developmental and mental health issues Consultation to faculty/staff, family, and friends of students of concern Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related discipline. Minimum one year relevant clinical experience Licensed for independent practice as Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or Psychologist, or equivalent; provisional license preferred. If provisionally licensed, must be fully licensed in Missouri within two years of hire. If licensed in a different state, must be fully licensed in Missouri within 3 months of hire. Experience in a university/college counseling center preferred.
