The Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work at the University of Oklahoma's Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences seeks an enthusiastic and innovative social work researcher and educator to join our dynamic faculty team as an Associate Professor or Professor beginning August 2023. We are especially interested in candidates who will build collaborative ties with other departments within the school and university through their research, teaching and/or service. The School seeks to expand expertise in one or more of the following areas: health, public health, health disparities & access, medical social work, and integrated health care/behavioral health. We value candidates with interprofessional collaborative experience as well as those candidates who have made contributions in the areas of practice and education within their healthcare focus. Position responsibilities include developing and maintaining an active research agenda with a strong focus on mentoring junior faculty and procuring research grant funding. Teaching assignments will include undergraduate, graduate courses, and/or doctoral courses (load of 2+2). Residency in or easily accessible to Norman, Oklahoma is a requirement. This endowed position comes with resources that will support the candidates research and other scholarly activities. The University of Oklahoma is home to the largest undergraduate and graduate programs in Oklahoma. The Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work offers fully accredited Bachelor and Master Social Work Programs to over 900 students annually. Anne and Henry Zarrow Hall is a state-of-the-art space featuring a simulation center, advanced computing, video technology and is home to the Social Work faculty.
