Home Preservation Manager Job Description: Details: Subcontracted Part Time Position ($600 per month, + $240 for each home preservation job completed) Required Skills: At least 10 years' experience in the trades and overall knowledge of home repairs, codes, and OSHA regulations. Reporting to MCHFH's Executive Director, the Home Preservation Manager will be responsible for the overall estimating, material purchase, oversight of construction and bringing to completion MCHFH Home Preservation Projects as outlined below: Attend weekly Construction Committee meeting Tuesday 9:30 am Review Inspection Reports Completed by Home Inspectors According to construction committee agreement of repairs needed: Visit home for any additional information needed for estimates. Provide estimate of material cost for repairs within 7 days of Construction Committee approval of project based on Construction Committee direction. Provide sub-contractor estimates for specialized work such as roofing, mold removal, gutter replacement, etc. Within 7 days of approval of materials estimate, provide a project plan to Construction Committee including, but not limited to: Complete description of project Ordering of job materials Delivery of job materials Number of volunteers needed. Duration of project Safety plan for project Project Management Periodically check with job site supervisor during project days to ensure that all projects' goals are met. Respond to any issues/concerns at project Communicate with subcontractors on any scope changes or problems.
