Qualifications: • Must be able to critically analyze situations and resolve problems efficiently. • Ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast- paced work environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales & service objectives. • Ability to work with limited supervision. • Experience quoting multiple lines of insurance. • Ability to stay calm under pressure with a friendly calm professional demeanor. • Strong computer skills and ability to use various software such as Microsoft Word, Excel Job Description Insurance Agent/Customer Service Skills & Competencies: • Coordinates with lenders, realtors and mortgage companies • Meets productions goals and objectives. • Quotes and binds coverage thru multiple carriers and lines of insurance • Efficiently monitors and maintains existing customer accounts. • Resolves customer billing inquiries. • Closes sales with current and prospective customers. • Able to upsell & cross sell multiple lines of coverages. • Assists clients with the claims process. • Makes policy changes and processes payments. • Document customer interactions and transactions, including complaints, and actions taken. Education and Experience Requirements: 3 years of work-related customer service experience in the insurance or financial industry. High School Diploma or equivalent or bachelor's degree. Current Property & Casualty License Required. Prior sales and customer service experience. Agency or Call Center experience preferred. Bilingual "Spanish" Preferred.
