The Center for Hearing and Communication (CHC) is a premiere, private, non-profit rehabilitation center providing a comprehensive array of clinical services for people of all ages who are hard of hearing or deaf. CHC is searching for a candidate to lead its Audiology Center in NY. We are searching for a candidate with a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence, the ability to lead a staff of five audiologists, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will provide clinical audiology leadership as well as provide clinical services in a Center that provides a wide range of diagnostic audiological procedures for infants, children, and adults, dispenses over 750 hearing aids annually, provides tinnitus treatment, and operates a mobile audiology program out in the local community. Principal Responsibilities Provide direct clinical audiological services to clients Coach and mentor clinical staff to enhance professional skills Develop new clinical programs to ensure that CHC remains in the forefront in diagnostic and treatment options for people with hearing loss Collaborate with other clinical directors to ensure multi-disciplinary approach to service delivery Ensure the department's operations align with CHC's strategic plan Represent CHC at local, state and national levels through involvement in professional associations and organizations Identify best practices to share with peers and make recommendations for improvement Minimum Qualifications Doctorate degree, Au.D or Ph.D 10-15 years of clinical experience in audiology and hearing aid dispensing NYS licensed in audiology
