UCLA Bilingualism Brain Study en Los Angeles

The UCLA Brain Development Lab is recruiting for our Bilingualism and Flexibility in Autism study, and we are interested in understanding how language experiences shape brain development and flexible behaviors in both monolingual and bilingual children with autism aged 8-12 years old. We study this using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to safely collect information about brain structure and function.

- Participating in our study involves two visits to UCLA: one for cognitive assessments and one for an MRI scan.
- Participation in the study includes a free confirmation of autism diagnosis and an IQ test.
- Participants can opt in to be notified if there are other research opportunities.
- Participants will receive $75 and a picture of their brain! Parking costs will also be covered.
