We are seeking an experienced, dependable truck driver to join our logistics team immediately. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods between our fulfilment/dispatch hub and various delivery points, ensuring timely deliveries, vehicle care, and compliance with all safety protocols.

1. Key Responsibilities:
   Operate a company-truck on scheduled routes and/or on short-notice dispatches.
   Load, secure, transport, and unload cargo in a safe, timely manner.
   Adhere to assigned route schedules and meet delivery deadlines.
   Perform daily vehicle inspection checks (tires, brakes, lights, fluid levels, etc.), and report any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly.
   Follow all traffic laws, DOT (or local) regulations, company safety rules and procedures.
   Maintain clean and safe vehicle condition, both inside and out.
   Use GPS/navigation equipment and/or route-planning tools as required.
   Engage with customers in a professional manner (if applicable); handle delivery paperwork or electronic records.
   Be flexible with shift hours—may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or urgent “on-call” assignments.
   Work collaboratively with dispatch, warehouse, loading staff, and other team members.
2. Required Qualifications & Skills:
   Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the truck class you will drive (e.g., heavy-truck/rig licence where applicable).
   Proven driving experience (preferably commercial/truck driving) with a clean driving record.
   Ability to lift cargo (for example up to 50 kg or relevant local metric) and perform physical tasks (walking, climbing into truck, etc.).
   Strong awareness of safety standards and ability to follow protocols.
   Good time management, reliability, punctuality.
   Basic mechanical awareness: able to recognise/flag vehicle issues.
   Good communication skills (for coordination with dispatch/warehouse).
   Flexible with shifts/schedule; able to respond to urgent needs.
