Responsibilities
- Power-Only Container Transport: Move containers locally and out-of-state, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
- TWIC Card Compliance: Access secure areas and ports using your TWIC card, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Efficient and Timely Deliveries: Deli - ver containers to various locations on time, following all local and interstate regulations.
Vehicle Maintenance: Keep your truck in optimal working condition by performing regular maintenance and addressing any needed repairs.
Documentation: Complete all required paperwork, including bills of lading, proof of delivery (POD), and delivery receipts.
Communication: Regularly communicate with dispatch regarding shipment status, delays, or route changes.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including DOT compliance and secure handling of containers.
Pre-Trip/Post-Trip Inspections: Perform thorough inspections of your truck and the container before and after each trip. - Requirements:
Must own and operate a Class A truck (Power Only) for container transport.
Valid TWIC card is required for accessing secure areas and ports.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an owner operator in container transport (power-only).
Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.
Proof of Valid and current insurance
Proof of truck Registration
Strong knowledge of local and interstate driving regulations.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must have reliable equipment and a professional attitude.
Ability to handle physical demands of loading and unloading containers.
Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service.
