Job Summary:
We are urgently seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Driver to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
-Operate trucks to transport goods and materials promptly and safely.
-Plan efficient routes to meet urgent delivery schedules.
-Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement.
-Inspect trucks before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
-Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
-Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
-Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Qualifications:
-Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with [Class A/B] endorsement.
-Proven experience as a truck driver.
-Clean driving record.
-Ability to operate and maintain trucks in good working order.
-Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
-Excellent route planning and navigation skills.
-Ability to lift and handle heavy cargo.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
