Job Description:
This full-time, on-site position is located in Gardena, California, for a centerless grinding machine operator. The operator will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating machines to grind external or internal cylindrical or conical surfaces of metal parts to drawing specifications, following tooling instructions and standard charts. They will also inspect machined parts to verify conformance to specifications and adjust machines as needed based on product attributes and characteristics.
• Knowledge of Cincinnati or Cinco15
• Mounting of grinding wheels and adjusting wheels on spindles.
• Manually fed grinding machines.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in grinding and inspection operations of machine parts
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions, and use measuring tools for parts inspection
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and managers
• Machining or related certification is a plus • Basic math skills
Other Qualifications:
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot problems that may arise during production
• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training is a plus
• Ability to lift 23 kg when required and stand for extended periods
• Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

• Prolonged standing
• May require additional hours beyond the standard 40-hour work week
• Ability to maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and standards
