Industrial Coatings Painter en Santa Fe Springs

Location: Santa Fe Springs

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 5am-1:30pm

Salary: Powder Coater: $20-$25/hour+ Liquid Coater: $30-$35/hour+

Requirements:

5 years of relevant work experience
Experience with High Solid Epoxies, Polyurethanes
Proficiency with airless spray system and plural system
Ability to mix paints per specifications
Knowledge of industrial coatings application processes
Physical fitness for job duties

Responsibilities:

Supervise and support department activities
Provide training for painters
Maintain equipment and ensure safety protocols
Prepare surfaces and apply coatings
Complete required paperwork accurately and timely

Additional Experience:

3+ years of industrial painting experience
English language proficiency
Knowledge of painting and surface prep techniques
Quality control/assurance experience preferred
Regular attendance and punctuality required

Coatings: Epoxy, Enamel, Zinc, Polyurethane, Marine Grade, etc.

Substrates: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Most Metals

Applications: Tanks, Structural Beams, Piping, Industrial Equipment, etc.

Characteristics: Abrasion Resistant, Corrosion Resistant, Flame Retardant, Decorative

Preparation: Masking, Acid Etch Primer

Surface: SSPC-SP-1, SSPC-SP-2, SSPC-SP-3, SSPC-SP-6, etc.

Application: HVLP, Airless, Conventional

Testing: WFT, DFT Measurements, Adhesion Testing, etc.

Focus: Architectural, Marine, Military, Commercial, Aerospace

Certifications: ISO 9001:2008 Certified, NACE
