The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring the product complies with federal and state laws, as well as company standards, and customer specifications by verifying that products are processed at the required specification and safe environment.

The Quality Assurance technician's primary role is to verify the quality of the product. This includes ensuring conformity to legal and company standards, maintaining inspection records, and collaborating across all departments regarding issues affecting quality.

Job Duties:

  • Perform Quality checks across all stages of production in specific intervals.
  • Perform Pre-Operational Inspections
  • Perform change over inspections between SKUs.
  • Verify the concentration of chemical by using the titration kit.
  • Perform the GMP daily audit and follow up with corrective action as needed.
  • Perform air temperature monitoring in
  • Collect, retain, and prepare customer samples as requested.
  • Place and release products on hold.
  • Perform calibration on measuring devices.
  • Verify that the daily sanitation checklist is completed correctly.
  • Report deviations and quality/food safety related issues to the QA lead or QA manager immediately.
  • Identify and report any equipment, production, material, safety, and employee issues to the QA lead or QA manager each day.
  • Comply with company policies, safety rules, and GMPs to ensure food safety.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Shift: 2nd

Pay: $18.00
