SOLDER / WELDER

Job Location: City of Industry, 91746, CA

1st Shift: 5:45AM - 2:30PM

Job Summary:

Work under the direction of supervisor or desingee. Using a torch, operator will be expected to be able to successfullysolder various types of copper and brass tubing to unit. May be responsible for other duties as assigned by supervisor. Read and interpret blueprints and/or shop drawings. Assemble tool and material requirements for the job. Clean and prepare surfaces to be soldered. Solder copper or brass tubing for whatever job is assigned solder showerheads.

Duties:

-Bilingual (Preffered, not required.)

- MUST be able to work with dust, debris, outdoors, & lift more than 50 lbs.

-Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.

-Assist finishers, welders, or any other operators as assigned.

- Perform general labor tasks as assigned by supervisor.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

-Maintain a fast pace while working.

- Operate Machinery

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

-One or more years of expericence or training in torch soldering of various metals.

-Will be required to pass employer's skill test.

-Must be able to read blueprints and/or shop drawing, have a working knowledge of precision measuring decives, and be familiar with all types of sheet metal material.
