Brake Press Op – 1st shift / $19 - $22 (DOE)

Specialty door manufacturing company located in Pico Rivera is looking to hire a Brake Press Operator for their 1st shift.

Training available for entry level candidates.

Monday - Friday
6am – 2:30pm
Must be open to work overtime & weekends as needed

Requirements:

Current CNC Press Brake Operator experience a plus
Familiar with operating CNC Press Brake Machine (Cincinnati Brake experience a plus)
Previous work experience in a Lean environment
Strong Mechanical and Technical skills
Can read and interpret print drawings
Good math and problem-solving skills with the ability to add and subtract fractions
Keen attention to detail
Always wanting to improve, self-starter, able to follow directions, and work with minimal supervision
Passionate with a high degree of initiative and stamina to complete jobs in accordance with production timeline.
Honest and reliable with a strong work ethic

Job Duties:

Makes sure machine is set up properly and working at full capacity
Ability to adjust machine program as needed
Performs periodic checks on output
Ensures finished product is defect-free and ready for internal customers
Respectfully performs additional operations per supervisor’s direction
May need to be cross-trained on other equipment/machines; or help cross-train others
Responsible for the required periodic maintenance and cleaning of machine(s)
Helps organize and keep work area clean
Adheres to safety regulations and company safety standards
