Location/Shift:
-Montebello: Tuesday-Saturday (1st Shift Tuesday-Friday 7:00a-3:30pm, Saturday 6:00a-12:00pm/ 38 regular hours + 2 hours overtime)
-Santa Fe Springs: Monday-Friday (1st Shift 6:00a-2:30pm)
Payrate: $24.00
Must be bilingual

Job Summary
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization within the machine shop and surrounding facilities. This role ensures compliance with safety standards by properly cleaning work areas, removing debris, and handling industrial waste, including metal shavings and fluids. The ideal candidate works efficiently, maintains a steady pace throughout the shift, and completes assigned tasks without unnecessary delay.

Key Responsibilities
· Clean and maintain shop floors, workstations, restrooms, and break areas
· Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, including removal of oil, grease, and coolant spills
· Dispose of metal shavings, scrap materials, and industrial waste safely
· Empty trash and recycling containers
· Clean machinery exteriors and surrounding areas (no operation of machines required)
· Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
· Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines
· Use cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and industrial vacuums
· Complete assigned duties in a timely and productive manner
· Assist with general facility upkeep as needed
