The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery involved in printing, stretching, and finishing digital canvases. The Machine Operator ensures that all work meets company quality standards while maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate digital printers, cutting machines, and canvas stretching machines according to production specifications.
Monitor machinery during operation to ensure proper function and to maintain product quality.
Staple printed canvases securely onto wooden frames using pneumatic or manual staplers.
Inspect finished products for defects and adjust equipment settings as needed.
Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors immediately.
Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet daily output goals.
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all products meet customer standards.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating machinery in a production or manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
