Purpose of Position

Repairs, constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and their components. Identifies parts for replacement and machines that need new parts and places orders as necessary as guided by Maintenance Supervisor.

· Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering
