Currently seeking Quality Control Technicians for 1st and 2nd shift positions.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing meat processing company.
Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, with 1st shift starting at 3:00 AM or 12:00 PM. Candidates must be available for overtime and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Audit production lines, sanitation processes, and employee adherence to GMPs and SOPs.
- Collect raw, in-process, and finished product samples for microbiological and analytical testing (e.g., pH, moisture, weight).
- Implement HACCP plans to identify and mitigate safety risks.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and assist with food safety data verification.
- Investigate quality deviations, identify root causes, and initiate corrective actions.
- Manage holds on nonconforming materials to ensure product quality and safety.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food quality inspection.
- Familiarity with FSMA, GMPs, SQF, BRC, or ISO standards.
- Proficiency with lab equipment, technical data interpretation, and basic mathematics.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in both office and cold manufacturing settings.
