Job Title: Quality Control Technician (2nd Shift) – Food Manufacturing

Location: La Puente, CA

Pay: $24.00/hr + $0.50/hr shift differential
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

````````````````````````Position Overview

APPROVED HR INC, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift. The QC Technician will conduct product tests, process checks, and audits to ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and process standards. This role involves both lab testing (60%) and production floor testing (40%).

````````````````````````````Key Responsibilities

Perform daily pre-operational equipment inspections (ATP and environmental swabbing)
Conduct batch and hourly finished product testing; adjust batches as needed
Perform quality checks on the production floor
Collect finished product samples for retention, customer requests, and microbiological testing
Maintain and calibrate lab instruments and equipment
Accurately document data and enter results into WIN SPC database
Place non-conforming products on hold and report issues
Conduct weekly GMP inspections and lab equipment calibrations
Organize QA/production documents and file ingredient COAs
Test raw materials as needed

Minimum 1 year of Quality Control experience in a food manufacturing environment
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills
English fluency required; Spanish is a plus
Familiarity with lab equipment and test result interpretation
