The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring, marking, and cutting various types of fabric according to 1st patterns, production patterns or specifications to support our garment manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret cutting instructions, patterns, or technical specifications.
Measure, align, and mark fabric for cutting using templates, rulers, or measuring tools.
Inspect fabric for flaws, stains, or irregularities before cutting.
Label and bundle cut fabric pieces appropriately for the next stage in production.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of cutting tables and equipment.
Keep accurate records of materials used and fabric consumption.
Follow all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma and/or trade school preferred.
At least 5 years of prior experience as a fabric cutter in a textile or garment production environment is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to read and follow patterns, measurements, and work orders.
Familiarity with different types of fabrics and cutting techniques.
Basic math skills and ability to operate measuring tools.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift fabric rolls (up to 35 lbs).
Must be fast and accurate

Salary range: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour
